What? I couldn't think of a title, OK?
Jit Sin High School is performing today and so we've got a chance to meet up with the people from CLB, namely our KaoYao gang. (I finally have something to put in my blog ...)
I picked them up from the jetty at about 5pm with WuenTing and her sister tagging along and we went to Queen's Bay to just hang around for a while before the actual performance. We overstuffed ourselves at Kim Gary.

We arrived at Dewan Sri Pinang at about 8pm and found it packed with people. People from other school bands, various school alumni, parents, teachers, etc. It was a frickin' full-house. I was very impressed.
But they played the first piece and I changed my mind as I sit at the top of the stairs. Considering their past achievements, I, no, we were expecting a little bit more. And we were disappointed.
Although they got better when they were playing without the strings, the overall performance is, to my (and probably a few others') opinion, a let-down to their previous gold medal-winning performances. Many of us (you know who you are. *wink wink*) think they no longer deserve to use the term "philharmonic" in their name.
There's more, but I seriously don't want to relive that anti-climatic performace in my head.
Again, another day they come and they go. Our KaoYao gang, I mean. To see them leave just like that is ... is ... well, it's unhealthy for my heart.
