TOA Penang

My workshop-type classes have recently begun at The One Academy (TOA) Penang. It's a pretty comfy place, but most of it is still under renovating work.

The administrative counter in the lobby.

Mysterious computer terminals sitting outside the classrooms.

The main hall, which is used mostly for Drawing 1 class and exhibitions.

Freakishly huge posters.

Freakishly enlarged mannequin sketches by former students.

The hall and stage, where we have our Drawing 1 class.

Figure Studies 1. A lecture on ideal proportions of the human face.

Watching some art history video in Drawing 1.

Drawing geometric shapes. Those easel-things are very uncomfortable to use ...

A demonstration by the lecturer on drawing with a reference.

A seperate group, also watching a demonstration.

Stuff the lecturer put on the board.
